Aboud Zazi is a famous Assyrian singer. He was born in Beirut, Lebanon, but his family exiled the country in 1976, after the outbreak of the Lebanese Civil War. They finally settled in S?dert?lje, Sweden.
Aboud showed his passion for music at an early stage of his childhood. In 1981 he played his first song on stage, at the Assyrian Cultural Club in S?dert?lje.
He released his first cassette "Gelyono" in 1991. Gelyono contained eight songs, some of which were written by the great Assyrian lyricist by Georges Chamoun.
In January 2000, Aboud Zazi released his first CD titled "Waado do Qtoro". The CD included songs such as "Bartho Tourayto" and "Latyo Aybo Wlo Htitho". The album was written mostly by Touma Nouhroyo, Georges Chamoun, and Elias Younan.
Aboud Zazi's songs are very popular among the young Assyrian generation.
