Vol.6

Doumoro:

Is dedicated to the three compatriots from Germany (Augsburg) who in 1993 visited our homeland Bethnahrin (Enhil) and never returned. This tragedy stirred my emotions and made me write this song to cherish their memory.

Serto d’man:

Refers to the lack of leaders and models amongst our people. We need models and leaders in all levels throughout our society. My dream is that members of our people are active and present in all positions. We must strive towards cooperation and not oppose each other.

Ya rabe:

Expresses a spontaneous reaction when I one day met a Group of youths who showed their appreciation for what I have accomplished with my music. This is my way of giving something back.

Basimo:

My soccer dream, which is about to come true, I can loose myself in this game.

Ad’lallyo:

Is my way of pointing out that we are about to loose the very soul of our music. Traditional instruments such as Guitars and Drums must continue to be part of our Musical Heritage

Ahounone:

Manifests my disappointment regarding the disintegration amongst our people. We must unite!

Hatou:

Is about our music and our musicians today. We are replacing our performers with playback and digital versions, when we instead should protect what we have.
